Goodbye, ugly hospital sucks. These socks are dressy, comfortable, soft, elegant, and grip is fantastic. These are going to be my Christmas socks gift going forward. There‚Äôs so elegant that they can wear with dressy shoes! But the best part is, they‚Äôre excellent customer service. I emailed them on a weekend and they responded early next day and were quick, efficient, friendly, and very accommodating. Good job Grip Joy!

Great for Walking & Not Slipping

I do like these socks. They are all as stated they should be and do. They have a snug fit and great traction. The fibers are soft and tightly woven. My only concern was the top band on the socks; they were tight enough to leave a mark; they did not slide down. Later in the day there was swelling above the band. I simply rolled the band down to my ankle. This might work with some folks. Would not recommend for larger legs or ankles. I ordered size Small-Medium. Would like to try Large if available.

Perfect grip socks and perfect service, but be aware of the size before you buy.

Our house is a shoe-free zone and I am usually walking around in my socks when I'm home. Since we have hardwood floors throughout, there isn't a whole lot of grip to rely on and it's easy for my feet to slip on the slick floors. I decided to try some grip socks to correct that but quickly learned that not all grip socks are created equal. The first brand I purchased had good reviews but they were rather thin and had very little grip. Worse, grippy stuff on the bottom just disappeared after 3 or 4 washings, which pretty much defeated the purpose of wearing them. I left an appropriate review of those socks ("Useless"), then tried again with a pair of Gripjoy socks. This time I hit the jackpot. They are and well made, with a full-bodied fabric and a large grip area. And they have now survived quite a few washings without any effect on the grippy substance on the bottom. Perfect.I liked them so much I bought two more packs, but the ones I received were much longer, going well up & over my calves. Rather than go through store, I sent a note to the seller about the discrepancy and she responded in less that three hours. It turns out store sent me the wrong size in the original order. I ordered the large size, but the ones I was wearing were the small/medium size. They are really quite different: The short/medium socks are 12" long and the large are 16". The seller quickly figured out what had gone wrong and immediately sent me two packs of the small/medium socks. So it's all good now, but I did learn something about the socks I want to pass on to you. The photo shows the small/medium size, but the size you order defaults to large. If you want really long socks, that's fine, but if you want socks like you see in the photo (what I think of as "regular socks" rather than "calf-length"), change the order to small/medium. They are plenty big for most feet. Mine are size 10 and they are a perfect fit.Oh, and the socks work great. They have really good grip, yet look and feel like regular socks. So this seller wins my highest praise: five stars for a great product, and five stars for perfect service.
